Mr. Turtle’s School is a cooperative school for children
ages 20 months through three years (47 months) and a caregiver.
It is, first and foremost, our goal that
every child who attends Mr. Turtle’s School receives a positive and enjoyable
first exposure to school.
It is our
desire to instill in children the joy of learning, to nurture their senses of
wonder and curiosity as well as their appetites for music, books, art and
nature all while building the self-esteem and social readiness skills that are
the basis for successful socialization with others.
Our curriculum is age appropriate and our
approach is gentle, non-pressured and enthusiastic… an exposure, not a “lesson”. At this young age, children naturally absorb
concepts such as colors and shapes as they are exposed to them. Parents are
often surprised at how interested and capable their toddlers are.
The most important thing to know is that Mr.
Turtle’s School is FUN!
