Class Structure

Each class is limited to a maximum of 12 toddlers to provide an optimum learning environment and allow plenty of individual attention from the two teachers. The children are grouped according to age - we try to keep the age range in each class to six months.

Each class is one hour and fifteen minutes long. Classes are very stimulating for toddlers, and through long experience we’ve discovered that after 75 minutes children leave still bubbling with enthusiasm. Our standard class school year runs from September into June. Mid-session registration is welcome. Please contact us for tuition information based on when you will be enrolling your toddler.

Daily Schedule of Activities

The normal schedule of activities for a class includes:

• free play with educational toys and equipment especially designed for toddlers;
• circle time - with songs, dances and finger plays;
• school-provided snack;
• learning games and activities;
• and an art project.

All activities are age appropriate. Mr. Turtle’s School curriculum includes many special parties and theme days, including a Halloween party, a Winter party, a Valentine’s Day party, a spring egg hunt, Dinosaur Day, Teddy Bear Tea Party, Mother’s and Father’s Day and a very special Graduation Day.

Schedule of Class Times

Classes are once a week at the times listed in the table below. When registering, you will select day of the week and time-slot you wish to enroll in, and once confirmed, you and your child will enjoy “Mr. Turtle Day” at that time and day of the week from September through mid-June.
